30 Days Facebook jail

Abalinx 15 March 2018 Peter Adamis

I AM BACK.  I woke up this morning to see that machine manipulator “FABIAN” (Face Artificial Book Intelligence) unlock the electronic padlocks and chains holding me in the murky dark depths of FB Purgatory. ( A place or a state of suffering inhabited by social media souls of sinners who are expiating their sins before going to Face book heaven). A copy of the article may be downloaded by clicking on: 30 Days in Facebook purgatory

“Fabian the jailer” said to me, you are now cleansed of your anti-social online behaviour and now you are ready to return to the cyber world.  I came out of the FB solitary confinement looking worse for wear. Gone had my “Dorian” good looks to be replaced by this scruffy old bloke who looked nothing like that Aussie Greek ANZAC with his Akubra.  I took one look at “Fabian the jailer” and said one word.  “Bullshit” (Also bullcrap) is a common English expletive which may be shortened to the euphemism bull or the initialism BS. In British English, “bollocks” is a comparable expletive. A person who communicates nonsense on a given subject may be referred to as a “bullshit artist”. Otherwise known as a Wanker, weasel and worm  in Aussie slang.

I have a lot of work to do to get back to my old self after being in purgatory. Mind you I was not idle during my time.  I managed to dig a tunnel, create two new profile, thumb my nose at  “Fabian the jailer”, tell a few wankers to piss off, wrote a few daring and provocative articles and as usuals made a nuisance of myself in an attempt to keep my self-esteem and sanity intact. My cobber digger mate Vasili Canary was a constant companion and my alter ego “Simada Retep” (Peter Adamis in reverse) held the fort while I was absent.

I have a few articles up my sleeve which I hope to produce over the next few weeks as they are a long time coming. As for being in “Fabians jail”, the experience reinforced my Aussie values of “Never kicking a bloke when he down”, “Fair crack of the whip”, “Calling a spade a spade” and “Fighting the good fight”.  I like to think that I am in the same pen as that other bloke who has a website called Pickering Post, but unfortunately he is a far better writer and his skill with the quill is beyond my capabilities. Still I try to make fun of my environment and laugh along the way.
