A Quick response

A “Quick” response these does not mean that the person creating the response is correct. A copy of the article may be downloaded by clicking on: A Quick Response

I refer to those who are intent on undermining Matthew Guy, Michael Kroger and their teams either at the parliamentary level or the political arm of the organisation. Quick newsletters to members are not the panacea to the ills if any confronting the Liberal Party. “Quick” newsletters do not last long and the enjoyment of reading them hardly raises eyebrows. What does upset members is when individuals leak the inner discussions of Administrative Committee at a crucial time. Matthew Guy, Chris Pearce and others on his campaign staff are working around the clock to ensure that the Liberal party is in the best possible position to win government.

The last thing we the members need is some recalcitrant individual tunneling the very foundations of the Administrative Committee, big noting themselves by demonstrating how wonderful they are and how better they are than the others on the board.  Well, if the others are that incompetent then we have only us to blame, for we elected them. I guess in hindsight, Ian Quick with his newsletters believes he is doing us a favour. Well I have a newsletter of mine to deliver to him and to be honest it is a “quick fix” to the problem. Pull your head in real “quick” because someone will eventually come along and be that little bit quicker”.

Down below, I have included only but one of the Ian Quick responses to another member who complained directly to Ian Quick. I have also included “Quick’s” response which I must say needs an interpreter to understand.  But my message to Ian Quick will be quick. Every time he sends an email to Liberal party Members, he will be exposed. Every time it is brought to our attention that he (Ian Quick) makes a destructive comment against Matthew Guy, Michael Kroger, the Parliamentary team and/or the Administrative Committee, he will be exposed. If he wants to earn peoples respect with a “quickie” then he must go out and join the rest of us who for years have been the working to help our parliamentarians and the administrative arm of the party during campaigns. Ian Quick, the real message is that we the members want, unity, loyalty and solidarity at all levels, so please be quick” about it.

Post Script.  I have written a number of political article on various subjects and other matters. Since that time I have received a number of abusive telephone calls at home and on my mobile. Furthermore please note that all my calls are monitored due to inappropriate behaviour. I have also received unwarranted and inappropriate threatening emails.  As I take such matters to heart, I would like to point out that I have no malice towards any individual. In fact I admire anyone who stands up or what they believe in.  I am the same and will do what is right in the eyes of our society. If any reader is aggrieved by my comments, then an apology is in order on my part.

I will go even further and apologise to all and sundry if my posts have offended or upset my very dear friends, mates, ex-military, retired cobbers political, military, community and all those I have met throughout life.  But having apologised does not mean that we do not have our political differences and I don’t expect us as individuals to see eye to eye on many things apart from wanting as in my case Liberal Governments in power. My disagreements if any with individual are never personal.

If those who read what I have written, please be assured that it was not my intention and I am sorry if people have taken it the wrong way. I have explained in another post what has occurred to my database and in my own manner of speaking I hoped that it would make matters clearer. If not then I am sorry if readers have taken my posts the wrong way. I welcome as always constructive criticism to mattes which readers may feel need further clarification and I will endeavour to correct it. It may also mean that I may have to add a postscript to any article that I write in order that others understand that what is being written is not personal at all.  Thank you to everyone for their kind support and understanding. Peter Adamis.

Hello Ian Quick,

As a Liberal Party supporter since 1979 and an active member since 1985, I find your very 1st newsletter and now your 2nd newsletter is out in the public arena to destroy the Liberal Party. I have held various leadership positions as Chairman, Secretary & Treasurer in State Electorates, Province), Federal Electorate 200 Club. Also I have been Endorsed Candidate State Elections, Endorsed Senate Candidate 1996 Federal Election. Never, have I seen anyone who have just come into the Admin Committee, bags the Admin Committee and out of the blue thinks he knows everything and feels as if he is the next Messiah in the Liberal Party to take on the Labor Party and get the voters in the State & Country to vote Liberal.

I have met you when you were desperate in seeking the 2nd spot for the Northern Metro ticket in the 2010 pre-selections. I have met you several times at REC meetings between 2006 7 2012. You are one person who tend to ignore people sometimes and when you want their support then you say hello to that person.

My view is the current leadership of the Liberal Party  Administrative Committee, the State Director and the State Parliamentary Leadership Team are unified and getting on with the job of winning the State Election. With regard to the pre-selections for the Federal Seats, the State Admin Committee (of which you are) will make that decision in conjunction with the Federal counterparts. You don’t have to start beating the jungle drums to bring out the monkey media from all corners of the State and Country.

My view is that if you don’t put a stop to your uncalled for QUICK LIBERAL NEWS, then you should resign from the Admin Committee. I strongly feel that you should not be there in the first place as you are NOT a team player in the Liberal Party. You should be in the Labor Party or booted out of the Admin Committee and the Liberal Party.

THIS IS NOT THE TIME IN A VERY IMPORTANT STATE ELECTION YEAR FOR ANYONE ON THE LIBERAL PARTY ADMIN COMMITTEE TO COME OUT WITH VIEWS SUCH AS YOURS. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF IF YOU STILL REMAIN ON THE ADMIN COMMITTEE.  YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO THE LIBERAL PARTY.

You are entitled to your view, as am I – and getting on to admin doesn’t change that (And unlike some of the members on Admin, I’m not the one doing things through the media). However, I think you would be better addressing the issues rather than making up comments about me – which, as my newsletter says, has been the typical response of some people who are doing things for political reasons.   Ian Quick.
