Liberal Elders. Talk about calling the kettle black. The so called elders of the Liberal party are nothing but a bunch “HAS-BEEN NO-BODIES. They are the ones that should be ashamed of themselves. They never had the courage to criticise Malcolm Turnbull before yet they pontificate as if they and they only know the answers to what ails the Liberal Party. Only people the likes of Malcolm Fraser and Black Jack McEwen had the courage and the tenacity to tell it as it was. Sadly both have gone. Menzies would be horrified and while Howard is disgusted by keeping a safe distance from the melee, these so called “Born to Rule” elders of the Liberal party come out post “The Spill” to add their fuel to the fire. Where were they when the going was tough? I will tell you where they were. They were enjoying life in lucrative and exotic places overseas, having their cocktails, living on the fat pensions that we the mere mortals struggle day by day. This reminds me of the French and Russian Revolutions where the people rose up against the elites in their society out of sheer hunger and appalling conditions.
These Elders who have attacked Tony Abbott should reflect on their comments and retract their insane and innocuous comments; for they fail to impress anyone. Tony Abbott is not to blame! If the elders want to blame individuals, look no further than the vicious, vindictive, self-seeking, selfish and disloyal Malcolm Turnbull and his crew of hybrid sycophants. Everyone was disgusted with the ousting of Rudd/Gillard/Abbott and absolutely nothing good came out of that. Nothing but instability, insecurity, disloyalty and disunity.
A new generation. The Australian people are fed up with the low level of representation by those in Canberra and the days of “Fair Go” and “Fair crack of the whip” are over. The elders had their opportunity, now it’s time for a new generation to take over. A new generation that does not contain the baggage of elder’s skeletons or failures. In Victoria we have a new generation that is politically savvy, smart, intelligent and ready to take on the mantle of leadership. Individuals like Matthew Guy, Tim Wilson, James Patterson, Marcus Bastiaan, Chris Crewther, Asher Judah, Josh Frydenberg, Michael Sukkar, Tim Smith, Paul Mitchell, and many others of their ilk are the future and not the crock of has-beens and know it all.
Despite the poor polling overall for the Liberal/National party, I am of the belief that Victorians will rally around their Liberal representatives to stave off an avalanche of anger. Therefor In Victoria there are few seats in my opinion that may be lost at the next Federal election. The list of members shown below is what I believe may occur:
I for one have always championed the youth and still encourage the new generation to seize power. Just like Peter Dutton attempted to do but unfortunately failed because those who sought the downfall of Malcolm Turnbull were also responsible for the downfall of Tony Abbott. My message to the elders is get off your backside, stop pontificating and encourage, mentor and support the next generation of Liberals to remove the current dung of poor performers and put them in the waste bin.
This recent drama played out in Canberra is like seeing sharks and piranha in a large cauldron of hot water boiling over a bonfire and all fighting for survival. The piranha don’t belong in the tank and neither do the sharks and yet the only one suited to fresh water is the piranha. Who is who in cauldron of hot water is anyone’s guess, but I can tell you that by the end of the day, the sharks may not come out the winners. It is difficult to swim like are shark in a tank of water when you have piranhas thrashing about in a blood thirsty frenzy. While we the passing tourist find it amusing to see two predators fight it out to the finish. If there was a goldfish anywhere amongst them, then it may have already decided to jump out and take its chances on the bonfire.
We Australians deserve better. Australia cannot afford to be managed by alleged “union controlled and media manipulated” individuals. Victorians deserve better and I am not convinced that Bill Shorten will do any better with his union mates controlling the assets and resources of Australia. As for Daniel Andrews he has demonstrated quite clearly to all Victorians that his words mean nothing and putting people first is a euphemism for putting them last. In any case, whoever wins the Federal election next year, look no further to blame, than within.
