Authors note: I have written a number of political articles on various subjects from time to time and this one is no exception. Nothing is personal and merely my opinion based on my observations of the past and the present political environment in Victoria and Canberra.
I will go even further and apologise to all and sundry if this post offends anyone but having apologised does not mean that we do not have our political differences and I don’t expect us as individuals to see eye to eye on many things. I just want to see a Liberal Governments in Canberra not a Labor one. As stated above, my disagreements if any with individual are never personal.
As always I welcome constructive criticism to matters which readers may feel need further clarification and I will endeavour to correct them. It may also mean that I may have to add a postscript to any article that I write in order that others understand that what is being written is not personal at all. Thank you to everyone for their kind support and understanding. Peter Adamis.
Peter Costello was 100% correct when he stated that there is no place for loyalty in the Liberal Party, only success. I often reflect on that statement and wish that I had followed that advice much earlier in my political activist career. I may have got a job as a janitor in someone’s electorate office. Sadly I must add that the reasons I initially joined the Liberal Party are no longer observed by members and/or those in public office. If I sound disappointed the answer is yes. I ask members of all persuasions whether it’s to the left, centre or the right of the Liberal party, where are our Liberal values and ethics of a bygone era? Therefore success in politics is not due to loyalty.
Victorian Liberals kept in the shadows. Now that I have had my little chuckle, it has come to my attention that it has been alleged that the current Victorian Administrative Committee is engineering the downfall of Scott Morrison the Prime Minister. Does this mean that Victorian Liberals are once again being kept in the shadows? I personally find that very hard to believe, until I began to conduct research based on past political trends, statistical data, positions of influence, power structures and the various factions involved. Research indicated that the same people who knifed Tony Abbot, had a hand in knifing Malcolm Turnbull. It was never the Conservative Right at all, responsible for the political assassination of two Liberal Prime Ministers, it was those on the left of Liberal politics, the Looney Left Liberals, the Sycophants, the so called progressives and rainbow warriors that brought down two Prime Ministers.
Political staffers are mere pawns. Further research indicates that the political faction pendulum is favouring the current left wing progressive Administrative Committee and that they have put into place action plans to topple the Prime Minister of Australia – AGAIN. There are individuals in Canberra as we speak, whose job is to monitor the current administration, record what they see and report back to their respective political minders/controllers. Most of these minor players who are political staffers are nothing but mere pawns and putty in the hands of their political minders/controllers.
Not what it seems. But having stated the above, I wonder just how much truth there is in it. After life time of studying politics and being a political activist, nothing surprises me in the least. I have had people look at me straight in the face and lie. There is the old saying that: “what I say, what I want, what I do, what I write, what I act upon and what I vote; may not be what you ask or want of me. Now that is a politician for you!
Double Standards. At this very moment there is a double standards approach being taken by the Victorian Administrative Committee of the Liberal Party. An Administrative Committee made of those responsible with, undermining, Matthew Guy and Michael Kroger, prior to and leading up to the Victorian State Election. These same divisive elements politically knifed Matthew Guy and assassinated Michael Kroger.
Political Retaliatory strikes Now that the State election is over, the current “rulers” of Victorian Liberal Party will go through the normal post-election “Kangaroo Court review (again) in an attempt to analyse and resolve issues with the aim of restructuring the party to be more “compatible with community and voters expectations”. Once this has been accomplished by Tony Nutt, the next step is to go onto a “witch hunt” and find scapegoats.
I THEREFORE ASK THE QUESTION OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE COMMITTEE WHETHER THEY ARE SERIOUS ABOUT REFORM OR MERELY ON A WITCH HUNT.
Political Witch hunts. The players are in place, the political environment is volatile and the political witch hunts are about to begin. One is of the belief that the first strike has already taken place by the resignation of Michael Kroger. The second alleged strike will be against Marcus Bastiaan and Paul Mitchell’ who are to be investigated for any political wrong doings. To make it even more believable, it has been alleged that Julian Sheezel, a former Victorian State director will be offered $10,000.00 to conduct the investigation. Whether it’s true or not remains to be seen. When approached regarding this allegation, Mr. Julian Sheezel denied that he has been tasked with an investigation and that it was merely a rumour. Now I have known young Julian for a very long time and I believe that he is an upstanding and honest individual who has his heart in the right place. As such I believe him and not the allegations or rumours.
Decision makers. Those alleged to have made the decision at the Administrative level to conduct an investigation on Marcus Bastiaan and Paul Mitchell are: Robert Clark, Michael O’Brien, Scott Ryan, Gxxxxxxxxx Hxxxxx, Robyn Head, Greg Mirabella, Ian Quick, Holly Byrne and sadly Kxxxxxxxx Oxxxxx. On reflection, Marcus Bastiaan and Paul Mitchell did what no other Liberal could do during the past 28 years under successive left wing Looney Liberal administrations. Today, there are more members in the Liberal party, the coffers are full because of Michael Kroger and outdated constitutional practices removed. The new administration has done nothing new to bring to the Party, they have galvanised and united the Conservative right and clearly have marked out the battle lines for future political redresses. As it has been my experience that political witch hunts are not conducive to long term political unity and relationships and the Liberal party cannot afford to return to the days of Tony Snell and the Damien Mantach’s of this world.
Political cannibalism. Character assassinations and political cannibalism has always been a characteristic of the Victorian Liberal party whose values and ethics are no longer admired or followed by those who seek power for power sake.
Political guidance and mentors. Many years ago, a very special friend (Giuseppe De Simone) whom I love very dearly; took me to one side and said, “Pete, in the world of politics, we who are the soldiers must at times sacrifice ourselves for the leader and for the greater good of Australians” or words to that effect. On the other hand, one of my earlier political mentors, (Harold Eather) encouraged me to speak out against any perceived errors of political judgement or decisions.
Good advice from two good men and who have contributed so much to the Victorian Liberal Party that cannot be truly understood or appreciated. One was a business man and captain of industry and the other was an ex-soldier and grazier. I have added this minor digression in order to demonstrate what Liberals within the Victorian Liberal party should be doing and not become destructive elements such as Mr. Ian Quick, who spent his time on the Administrative Committee undermining Matthew Guy and Michael Kroger. Mr. Ian Quick and his cohort of Looney Left Liberals have much to answer for.
Mr Quick, competing for the title of “Master Underminer” had to share the title with his colleague David Everist. This the same David Everist who is alleged to be the gentleman who sent out an email to members attacking the leadership of Michael Kroger and in doing so had inferred and implicated that Matthew Guys leadership fell short. David Everist, Mr. Ian Quick, along with their Looney Left Liberal sycophant cronies, the Rainbow warrior as well as the canine, (Dingo Dingo or Ernie Dingo) on Social Media; left a lot to be desired and therefore are responsible for the loss of the Victorian State Election in 2018. Those who have access to face book may view it via their social media portal.
Disloyalty attracts disloyal political elements. With further regards to disloyal elements within the Liberal Party, Scott Ryan must be at the top of the tree. Once a young man who worked with a number of public figures, his disloyalty towards Michael Kroger is well known as well as his political career being saved by none other than, yes, Michael Kroger at a time in the distant past. I must admit young Scott has done well for himself in climbing the political ladder, after all that is what politics is all about. I must also thank him publicly for sending me an Australian flag to be flown at the Hellenic ANZAC Gardens in Pellana, Greece.
But what can I say other to call a spade a spade from a political point of view. Scott is a master political chess master, a political Napoleon predator who knows where all the political skeletons and bodies lie in the political swamp. He has the charm and seduction of Lucretia Borgia, who knows when to strike and when to lure the unsuspecting and disappointed political souls within the Victorian Liberal Party to his side.
I may have lost my political respect for Scott Ryan, but as an Army veteran, I would go to war with him and have him in my fighting pit, because of his skills in knifing silently others in the back. His mates, Kelly O’Dwyer, Mitch Fifield, Tony Smith and new starlet Kxxxxxxxxx Oxxxxxxxx are all tarred with the same political brush except that I would watch my back should I be in the same section with them. However despite my political criticism of these recalcitrant figures, at least they did not leave the Liberal Party like that other sycophant Julia Banks. Julia banks is someone who is going to learn the hard way that to reach the top you need good people to follow you. My message to Julia is that she is definitely not leadership material and should step aside from representing “nobody”. Her failure as a member of the Liberal Party is well known and her antics on bullying have fallen on deaf ears.
The Phoenix arises from the ashes of chaos. A new power structure “political phoenix predators” has risen from the ashes of political chaos in Victoria to include: Scott Ryan (bless his political soul), Mitch Fifield, Tony Smith, Bernie Finn, Kxxxxxx Oxxxxxx, Ian Quick, David Everist, Frank Greenstein and none other than that wannabe President of the Liberal Party Sean Armistead. It is obvious that Scott Ryan (“Lucretia Borgia) is the top dog, a modern day Caesar if you like and why not. Marcus Julius Brutus is merely a bit player compared to Scott Ryan.
So far so good for this new power structure. All will be well as long as food and drinks are free when “Caesar” Scott Ryan lunches with his sycophant mates such as Kelly O’Dwyer, Michael O’Brien, Julian Sheezel and that great “sponge like Hermes” communicator, Tony Barry get together. Yes it’s all coming very well together, where the leaks and undermining of Matthew Guy and Michael Kroger came from.
Conclusion. In conclusion, although I wish the Victorian Liberal Party nothing but the best and hope that the party can be united, history has demonstrated repeatedly that what we seek is not always compatible with the personal political hidden agendas of those who seek power for powers sake. As for those plotting to undermine Scott Morrison, I have news for them. New blood and troops are soon to join Scott Morrison’s team that will target all those who have undermined Matthew Guy and Michael Kroger. Therefore as indicated above, all of those involved in undermining Matthew Guy, Michael Kroger and the Administrative arm have exposed themselves for who they are and galvanised the Conservative Right to become united.
