Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Mankind. As I reflect on my journey, I realize that my fascination with knowledge, learning, and exploration began in my youth. I was always eager to experience life in all its richness. As I grew older, I became increasingly aware of the vastness of space and how small our world is in the grand scheme of things. Yet, even within this small sphere, I found an abundance of experiences that satisfied my early hunger for learning. Over the years, my passion for reading and writing flourished, regardless of where I found myself. I don’t know why, but there was an insatiable desire within me to learn as much as I could—perhaps it was a survival mechanism or a quest for wisdom from those I considered my betters.
When computers first arrived in my life, I was captivated. I remember the excitement of dismantling my desktop, rebuilding it, and installing all the necessary programs, eager to learn everything I could about this new technology. However, when Windows came on the scene, I found myself momentarily lost. The transition from language-based platforms to the graphical user interface of Windows was jarring, and despite my initial confusion, I eventually went with the flow. As Windows evolved, so too did my understanding, and my knowledge grew exponentially.
Now, as I embrace the arrival of AI, I find myself drawn to this new technology, even as I grapple with understanding its complexities. My curiosity drives me to explore how AI operates, though I must admit that the intricacies of coding and machine learning often feel beyond my reach. Nevertheless, I believe that if humanity is intelligent enough to create such logical artificial consciousness, we are also wise enough to recognize the necessity of a “kill switch.” This safeguard—whether embedded within AI systems or robotics—is essential to ensure that we maintain control over our destiny and are not coerced into situations that limit our freedom of choice.
As I look toward the future, I approach it with a blend of caution and optimism. I wholeheartedly welcome the benefits that new technologies can bring. For instance, if AI can alleviate suffering, find cures for diseases like cancer, and enhance overall quality of life, I am eager to embrace its potential.

Striking a balance between the benefits of AI in governance and the protection of civil liberties is essential, requiring transparent policies and robust oversight mechanisms to ensure responsible AI use.
