ASYMMETRIC CYBER INTELLIGENCE DIVISION WITHIN THE AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE FORCE
In the rapidly evolving landscape of global cybersecurity threats, Australia finds itself at a pivotal moment requiring a strategic enhancement of its defence capabilities. This paper advocates for the establishment of an Asymmetric Cyber Intelligence Division within the Australian Defence Force (ADF) as a necessary evolution to address rising cyber threats, geopolitical tensions, and technological advancements. The proposed division aims to transition the nation from a reactive to a proactive cyber defines posture, providing enhanced intelligence, situational awareness, and deterrence capabilities.
